Speaker: Tami Mize Biography: I have a passion for sharing information. Over the past 25 years, I’ve researched, written about, and taught genealogy, but I found my calling with ConferenceKeeper.org, a free online genealogy calendar of events. The website is much more than just genealogy conferences – it’s the most complete online calendar of all kinds of genealogy events, with nearly 2,000 events posted at any given time. It is also a reference site where you’ll find all kinds of information including lists of genealogy Podcasts, YouTube channels, Volunteer opportunities, Calls for Papers and so very much more.
Genealogical societies, libraries and even businesses offer many opportunities for genealogy education, both online and in-person, including webinars, seminars, conferences, workshops, and more. But it can be difficult to keep track of all that are available. ConferenceKeeper.org is a free, online calendar of thousands of genealogy events, making it easy to search for upcoming webinars, seminars, conferences, meetings, and registration deadlines. The website also has pages listing genealogy contests, jobs, scholarships, degree programs and still more!
