Our August meeting for those who are able to meet in-person, bring information about your “brick walls” and other research problems and questions. Some of our members are offering their research knowledge to help those who are hitting walls. Here’s a great opportunity for one-on-one assistance. We can all learn from this time of sharing and learning from the experience of others.
Those who have been researching, please bring suggestions and helpful hints to share with others that you’ve found useful in your research.
If you have something short you’d like translated, please bring an original or readable copy of the original document. The same is also needed to properly identify ancestral villages and towns.
No matter where you are in your research journey, whether just beginning, or almost complete, or like most of us, somewhere in the middle, we can all learn from this time of sharing and learning from the experience of others.
Have you gotten involved in other ways that you are paying tribute to you families? Are you writing stories about them or composing a book? Have you joined the DNA researchers and found relatives that you are sharing family information with?
It helps us to email your questions in advance. Feel free to bring your laptops or other research materials so you will have your information available.
